"On the Other Side of the Tray: What to Do Once the World is Built in Sandtray and Play Therapy" (3 CEUs)

Many sandtray therapists are challenged with what to do once the client has completed their build. We will explore what is actually needed by clients and how we can attend to that need. We will discuss the differences in right and left brain processing. We will also consider play themes as they may appear in the tray. This is an experiential session in which all participants will be building and witnessing sandtrays.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn basic guidelines for witnessing sandtrays
  • Explore and identify the needs of clients as they work in the sandtray
  • Learn about play themes and how they may be useful to the therapist
