Raquel Sadler earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University, a CACREP-Accredited program. She provides counseling services to individual adults and children in Dripping Springs and Buda.     ​​​​​​Michelle Beyer received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. She provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and parents at Austin Family Counseling. 


Both Michelle and Raquel have been trained in sandtray therapy and utilize it with their clients. 

​​​OBJECTIVES

  1. Explain the process of working with parents using sandtray play therapy
  2. Describe attunement and integration through a play therapy framework, and identify how they affect parenting style
  3. Assess and process parenting styles using sandtray play therapy
  4. Create a coherent narrative of parents’ personal history and how that affects their child


  • CEUs are available to non-members for $30, or attend for free if you are not seeking CEUs. 
  • All ASTA meetings are held on the third Friday of the month on a quarterly basis.
